The Kramer Electronics 841 Portable Computer Graphics Video Test Pattern Generator is a device for generating RGBHV signal patterns for VGA-enabled displays such as computer monitors, projectors and some high-definition TV sets. Part of the Kramer Electronics TOOLS line, the compact device requires only a third of a single rack space in a standard 19" rack, so three similar-sized devices can be installed side by side using the optional RK-3T rack adapter (not included). It includes an internal rechargeable battery that makes it suitable for field use. The 841 generates patterns for any display that has a VGA input.

• Output Resolutions: Along with its 31 patterns, the 841 offers the choice of 14 output resolutions that range from 800x600 to 1920x1200. The on-board memory saves the last setting
• Internal Battery: Employing its internal rechargeable battery, the 841 can be used in the field without a wall power supply. Fully charged, the pattern generator operates for approximately 5 hours at the highest resolution and it can last longer while generating lower-resolution patterns
• Power Supply / Recharger: The included 5V DC power supply is used to both power the unit and charge its battery. A fully depleted battery requires about 1.5 hours of recharging time to reach 80% and an additional 1.2-1.5 hours to reach a full charge
