The StarBright® CLR® 5 (SBCLR® 5) features Ceiling Light Rejecting technology for bottom placed ultra-short throw front projection applications in moderate light room environments. The surface can reject (absorb) 80% of ambient light to combat the washout effect typically experienced using matte white surfaces. This allows projector presentations to achieve contrast-rich images with a wide viewing angle without compromising picture performance and delivering exceptional imagery.

Not Compatible With Short or Standard Throw Projectors

Recommended for: CLR 5 (Ceiling Light Rejection) projector screens are highly recommended for Ultra-Short Throw (UST) laser projectors and brightly lit rooms. They feature special optical structures that absorb up to 80% of overhead ambient light, allowing for deep blacks and vibrant colors without having to close your blinds.

Aeon CLR® 5

The Aeon CLR® 5 is an EDGE FREE® ceiling ambient light rejecting (ALR/CLR®) fixed frame projector screen that uses our ultra-short throw StarBright® CLR® 5 front projection surface. The microstructure consists of an absorbent layer that negates the washout effect of ambient light from overhead light sources. This also enables the material to provide superior contrast levels that are greater than that of standard matte white projection screens.

CLR® 5 is specifically designed for ultra-short-throw projectors to provide a large-screen performance in the close quarters of most residential or training room environments. The CLR® 5 offers a wide viewing angle, neutral color temperature, and enhanced picture contrast in a theater-grade image.
