High Definition Video Conferencing Equipment
LifeSize® Room™ is the high definition video conferencing system that combines exceptional quality and user simplicity to make remote communications a productive, true-to-life experience. The fully integrated equipment connects to most displays in any size conference room and provides crystal clear video clarity and high fidelity audio for productive conferencing. LifeSize Room includes embedded 4-way CP (continuous presence) and 6-way VAS (voice-activated switching) HD multipoint capabilities to connect multiple participants.
LifeSize Room enables anyone with dispersed colleagues and operations to collaborate more clearly and effectively.
Better Quality at Any Bandwidth - By delivering nearly ten times the quality of existing videoconferencing systems (limited to 352 x 288 pixels), users will experience a completely new paradigm in face-to-face video communications. High definition (1280 x 720 pixels at 30 frames per second) video resolution will make participants appear true-to-size. And with advanced processing capabilities, LifeSize Room provides better video at any bandwidth including high definition resolution at 1Mbps, DVD quality at 512Kbps and Cable TV quality at 384Kbps.
High Definition Conference Phone - Hear and understand participants in super wide-band up to 16 kHz audio with superior room coverage over existing systems. Use LifeSize® Phone™ with LifeSize Room or simply as a very powerful stand-alone conference phone.
Share Multimedia - Sharing product design concepts, new packaging or multimedia clips in high definition will be just like you were literally in the same room. Show intricate details or invite comments on a new creative idea and be sure that you see and hear every response in real-time.
Simplicity - From the thoughtfully designed user interface with context sensitive on-screen controls to the ability to dial video calls from the integrated speakerphone, LifeSize Room redefines simplicity.
Standards-based - LifeSize Room is based on the latest H.264 standard and provides H.263 support for interoperability with all standards-based video communications systems.
System Components - The complete video conference system includes the following equipment: a high definition codec, high definition camera, high definition audio conference phone and wireless remote control. LifeSize Room is fully integrated for instant plug-and-play use with any display or monitor.
